The sarcophagus was heavily damaged due to natural deterioration. The lid and bottom were halfed in the past. The four fragments had to be reasembled and all the damage restored.

Alberto Giacometti "La Jambe" The lef had a large crack in the ankle and various scratches. The owner wanted the crack to be welded and all scratched surfaces repatinated.

Roman Marble Head of Doryphoros 2Century AD; the damaged nose was restored. However; stylistically it is not correct. This will be immediately obvious to a connoisseur.
